Your gameloc specialization course has ended. Evil forces are still out there, but your backpack is overflowing with new shiny tools and cool terminology. What do you do? Of course, you assign your new skill points right away and team up with your former course-mates to join a LocJam! When it comes to translation work some of us are veterans, some are new to the game, but we all share one goal: create a brilliant Italian localization.
Now, on to our adventurers:
Nicolò Cremesini (He/ Him, 29, Italy-Based)
EN>IT & ES>IT Translator and Italian teacher for foreigners.
15+ years dedicated to foreign languages; I believe learning new cultures broadens your mind and betters you like anything else.
A longtime gamer, I have always been drawn to story-driven games and action adventures. Between many heroic gestures, I’m directly responsible for the killing of the Pazzi family, a cyborg uprising and the destruction of the Umbrella corporation.

Eleonora Degano (She/ Her, 34, Italy-based)
EN>IT Translator
Skilled elf archer with 11+ years of experience in translation, localization and editing (also science journalism, but that’s a story for another time). I levelled up changing seasons, manipulating time and playing music to the Wind Fish with Link, but my one true vintage love will always be Golden Sun. Lifelong gamer, I can’t wait to add game localization projects to my inventory.
Fyi: just like Gale Dekarios, I will always question the wisdom of that decision.

Francesco Melis (35, Italian-ish)
EN-ES>IT Translator
Mighty pirate and passionate gamer with a background in linguistics and translation. During my university years, I started making fan translations of mangas that were not available in Italy, from then on I decided to make it my job and move on to the gaming sector.
I have more than 100 game translations under my belt, but it's always nice to find new friends to work with.

Bruno Miglioranza (27, Italy-Based)
EN>IT Translator
Just landed in this world and immediately fascinated. I love the concept of being able to work behind the scenes in video game projects to localize and make the game accessible and understandable to everyone.
A lifelong gaming enthusiast, I adore many genres including platform, FPS, soulslikes, adventure, and competitive games.

Sheila Rivaben (43, Italinglish)
EN>IT>EN Translator
It all begun with a Sega Master System and a blonde caveboy on a skateboard… The rest is history. I’ve learned how to play videogames before mobile phones were even a thing, and worked my way through Dungeons, Clouds, Cubes, Alleys and Valleys.
I love languages, I translate (mostly) serious stuff for a living, and I would love to get serious with some fun-loving games too.
